Kia ora bloggers this time it's a practice blog on the summer learning journey my topic is Blade Runner it's a movie here is what I think will happen...

There will be hover cars and hover scooters and big flying air ships that looks like animals and that has cool animal features and roads in the sky and traffic lights and houses,buildings.

Greetings bloggers today I'm going to show you my writing about The spooky house...


Behind the old rusty steel fence,sits a spooky mansion. On the fence was a keep out sign. It was misty. The moon lit up half of the sky. Every window was darkened except one,it was like there were ghosts inside the mansion. The woods looked like it’s alive and had arms and legs. Inside the mansion was pitch dark I saw a flash of light. I followed the flashing light in to a tenebrous room.

Production At Night!

Last night was our final performance of Where The Wild Things Are! It was all good because the tickets were sold out that means there are going to be so much audience.

I was so nervous ,but when Miss V put glow in the dark bracelet's on us we were so excited to perform,the dance group did well.

 After the dance was over I rushed to room 8 to put on on my Bollywood costume and bangles. At last I was ready to perform again,the Bollywood group did well too. We were the luckiest because we got to watch a movie after we performed. It was time for the last performance the whole school went on the stage and sang. At last the production was all finished and we went back home.

Today's the day for our matinee! We have been working extremely hard for our dance routines.

 We have invited other schools from Mt Roskill at the moment I am nervous and anxious.

We'd love to have you as one of our audience, but you can't because the tickets are sold out!

Mrs Butler came in to work with us yesterday. We looked at a poem called "Did you ever?" By Nathan Reed. Mrs Butler challenged us to use precise verbs and nouns in each stanza. Here is my poem...

build a big sand castle?
Waves Crashing
Hands Digging
Eyes Looking
Try it.

Did you ever
go in to a dark cave?
Heart Pounding
Arms Shaking
Legs Wobbling
I loathe it.

Wild Things Description

Hello blogging world,

For literacy we have been reading the book where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak.

As part of our writing we wrote descriptions about a Wild Thing . Miss Percy showed us  picture of several Wild Things and we had to pick one to describe.

Our goal was to use descriptive nouns and verbs ( interesting vocabulary ) and vary our sentence beginnings.

Can you guess My wild thing

The Wild Thing’s hair is rose-coloured and straight. It’s tail is brown coloured and the size of a bunny. Her paws have scales like a fish. She has scary razor sharp teeth and yellow eyes that glow like fireflies at night. Her claws looks like a chicken’s  feet and she has a hairy body.

Today which is Wednesday at the digital Ignition programme we did computer swap or stay numbers , we made paper aeroplanes to show us that there are different programs.

He also taught us CSI. It means Clear, Step by step, Instructions.

It was so much fun on our first lesson of Digital Ignition.
